La Fura dels Baus, with the artistic direction of Carlus Padrisa (founder of the company), presents a surprising proposal for immersive theater, SONS – To Be or Not to Be. In a revolutionary format with digital sets and an immersive sound system, the audience stands in the center of the action, surrounded by actors and actresses who interact with them.
This “furera” version of Hamlet, one of Shakespeare’s classics, invites us to dive into the realm between reason and madness, the forces of fate against chance, the confrontation between good and evil, the doubt between the binary of freedom and responsibility, life and death.
The company has chosen Buenos Aires to conceive the new show, relocating its entire artistic team to the Argentine capital to create and rehearse at Sala Sinpiso, a one-of-a-kind venue in the world for aerial theater. The play will have its international premiere in 2025 in Argentina before starting its international tour.

La compañía ha elegido Buenos Aires para concebir el nuevo espectáculo, trasladando todo su equipo artístico a la capital porteña, para crear y ensayar en la Sala Sinpiso, única en el mundo por sus características para el Teatro aéreo. La obra hará su estreno internacional en 2025 en Argentina para luego iniciar su gira internacional.
